Born in 1971 in Milan, where he currently lives and works.
Bo130 imagery is a trip into his state of mind.
In his work, childhood memories get into the mix with black music, different cultures, food, sex, comics, aliens stories, calligraphy and tribal art; everything get remixed and layered in a very controlled yet spontaneous and intuitive order …almost like a mental archive of an alien visiting our planet.
The result is a lysergic juxtaposition of colors and shapes, stratified in different techniques, exploring and blending printed and hand drawn techniques, analog and digital, mouse and brush, acrylics and spray paint ,stencils, stickers and markers.
He refers to his painting style and technique as “Retro Future Tribalism”
One of the first writers to combine his signature or Tag with the use of an illustrative "icon"
in his case a stylized crab, which in addition to show up on his works, spread in various cities of the world, not just with spray-paint but also with other techniques such as stencils, stickers, paste-ups, brushes and rollers.
During the 90’s he lived in London and short periods in New York. In London he studied at Central Saint Martins and graduated in Graphic and Media Design at London College of Communication. Hooked in the graffiti game since 1985, through the years he has consolidated valuable experiences with galleries, museums and walls around the world.

Along side to his artistic activity, Bo130 collaborates to some special projects. He has worked as an art director, designer and VJ for brands such as Carhartt Europe, Nike, Levi's, Columbia Records, Universal Music, Philips and others.
In 2005, along with "Microbo" and "The Don" Donini, realizes the book "Izastikup" published by Drago Arts: a unique collection of "self-produced" stickers from around the world. The book more comprehensive and first of its kind, to be considered today a real "cult".
Always with Microbo, with which it shares an artistic journey for many years, organizes events like "Arteimpropria" in 2003 at the gallery Maravigli and
"The Urban Edge Show" in 2005 in Milan ; events which anticipate and open the doors to the trend that has become a custom today; to call visual artists from different parts of the world, in a given location to create site-specific works.
Bo130 has always been Interested in grassroots, community-based projects that induce collaborative behaviours, knowledge sharing, creating awareness through connections of people, different cultures, arts and nature and what brings from their interactions. In 2013, Bo130 took part in a unique project in Madagascar, called Du Graffiti Dans Les Voiles, where him and other nine internationally known artists from different parts of the world, have spent a month in Madagascar, sharing everyday life and painting the sails of the Vezo fishermen legendary tribe. The project was conceived to raise awareness on this part of the world and on these amazing people and their endangered situation.
A 52-minute documentary directed by Sami Chalak was produced in 2015 by Tec Tec / Alefa Production / Canal + Réunion,
two exhibitions were staged at the Musée des Confluences in Lyon and a book is in production.
Bo130 does not believe in individuality, in conformity and in the competition for its own sake.
Bo130 believes in collaboration and sharing and that diversity is our unifying heritage.
